Job summary

International Rescue Committee seeks a Training Officer for Switchboard in the United States, delivering training and capacity-building for refugee and newcomer services. You will design resources, run webinars, and collaborate with experts to improve outcomes for families and individuals.

The role requires a Master’s in Social Work (or equivalent), 6+ years of direct service experience with refugees, and strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience providing training and/or technical assistance to refugee service providers.
• Ability to design client-centered, trauma-informed, strength-based services.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of capacity-building initiatives for refugee and newcomer services.
• Provide training, webinars, and e-learning to U.S. service providers.
• Produce learning resources and toolkits; coordinate communities of practice.
