Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Content Specialist to develop and maintain training content for our retail sales team. You will create knowledge articles, job aids, SharePoint resources, slide decks, videos, and e-learning materials, coordinating with marketing, operations, and other teams.

The role emphasizes strong writing, instructional design skills, and proficiency with LMS and content tools; a mortgage or financial services background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
• Minimum three years total work experience in mortgage foreclosures related documents and timelines.
• Minimum two years' experience in the mortgage industry.
• Minimum three years' experience in content creation or training/education role.
• Proven experience in content development and instructional design, preferably in mortgage/financial services.
• Strong writing, editing, and visual design; video editing and ADA standards preferred.
• Proficiency with content authoring tools, LMS, and multimedia software.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Experience with Wiki and cloud-based collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Content creation: develop and maintain training content (new hire materials, knowledge articles, SharePoint resources, content for LMS).
• Content maintenance: review and update materials for campaigns, system enhancements, sales strategies, regulatory updates.
• Content accessibility: ensure materials are accessible in LMS, SharePoint, and other channels.
• Collaboration: work with internal communications and SMEs to gather content requirements and ensure messaging accuracy.
• Quality assurance: conduct reviews and quality checks for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Feedback integration: incorporate trainer feedback to improve programs and materials.
