Job summary

Rainfall Ventures is seeking a Trading Specialist to monitor live trading across overnight, extended hours, and regular sessions, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant execution. You will investigate issues, coordinate responses, and collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Experience to support trading infrastructure and risk management.

The role offers exposure to trading operations, risk management, and customer-impacting decisions with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years in broker-dealer operations/trading.
FINRA Series 7 required.
FINRA 57 license required.
Strong understanding of brokerage operations.
Self-starter with ability to work independently.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

Execute Written Supervisory Procedures to comply with SEC and FINRA rules.
Entry and execution of equity and option orders.
Resolve trade inquiries.
Monitor trading activity, firm accounts, and actions; identify and resolve trade problems.
Monitor health of routing systems and venues; interact with venues as required.
Coordinate response for system, trading, and communications (SEV) issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance) on product development and problem solving.
