DriveWealth in Chicago seeks a second-shift Operations Specialist to support 24/5 global trading. You will monitor real-time risk, enforce SEC/FINRA policies, and troubleshoot operational issues.

Based in Chicago, a hybrid schedule runs 11:00 AM–7:00 PM CT. The role requires collaboration with market venues, trading desks, and clients, and mandates FINRA licenses with strong FIX/SQL/Python skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of broker-dealer operations or electronic trading support across global markets.
• FINRA Series 7, 57, and 63 licenses required.
• Understanding of brokerage operations, electronic execution workflows, and trading infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with FIX protocol and algorithmic trading controls.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python; able to investigate data issues and script automations.
• Experience with Unix/Linux command line, JIRA, and OMS/EMS platforms such as Eze or Fidessa.

Responsibilities

• Execute Written Supervisory Procedures to ensure SEC/FINRA compliance.
• Monitor equity trading systems and alert frameworks for disorderly trading.
• Escalate issues across trading desks, support, risk, and management.
• Support trade operations across equities, options, and fixed income globally.
• Conduct real-time monitoring of order management systems and coordinate responses.
• Provide client-facing support for FIX connectivity and post-mortems.
• Coordinate onboarding for institutional clients (FIX config, OMS/EMS integrations).
• Resolve trade discrepancies and oversee post-trade risk events.
• Support projects tied to OMS migration and platform modernization.
