You will conduct trademark searches, advise on registrability, and file numerous applications with the USPTO. This fast-paced environment rewards strong communication and practical legal judgment.

Qualifications

• Minimum US trademark prosecution experience.
• Juris Doctorate (JD) and active bar license in good standing.
• Ability to explain legal concepts to non-attorneys over the phone/online.
• Experience with high-volume trademark prosecution, clearance searching and opinions.
• Strong communication, business acumen, and client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency while maintaining high legal standards.
• Conduct and review trademark searches and provide strategic risk analyses.
• Advise clients on registrability and strength of marks.
• File a high volume of trademark applications with the USPTO.
• Respond to Office actions.
• Assist senior trademark attorneys with caseloads.
• Help small businesses access legal services and focus on advising clients.
