Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking experienced Trade Surveillance professionals to support AI-driven RegTech solutions for capital markets compliance and market abuse detection. You will assess complex trading scenarios, evaluate AI-driven alerts, and help design datasets to improve AI systems used in regulatory monitoring.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience investigating market abuse alerts, familiarity with surveillance platforms, and knowledge of global regulatory requirements across equities,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Trade Surveillance, Market Surveillance, Compliance Surveillance, Market Abuse Monitoring, Regulatory Oversight, or related functions.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze trading activity to identify indicators of potential market abuse.
• Evaluate AI-generated surveillance alerts and determine outcomes such as escalation or further investigation.
• Assess cross-asset patterns to identify behavior requiring regulatory review.
• Provide expert feedback on surveillance methodologies and case management approaches.
