Job summary

Weekday 1's client is seeking experienced Trade Surveillance professionals to support the development and evaluation of AI-driven solutions for capital markets compliance, market conduct monitoring, and market abuse detection.

You will apply expertise in trade surveillance, regulatory compliance, and financial oversight to assess trading scenarios, evaluate AI alerts, and contribute to high-quality datasets that advance RegTech analytics, all within a fully remote engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Trade Surveillance, Market Surveillance, or related functions.
• Experience investigating surveillance alerts and documenting findings.
• Strong understanding of market abuse regulations and surveillance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Review trading activity to identify indicators of market abuse.
• Evaluate AI-generated surveillance alerts and determine outcomes.
• Develop surveillance evaluation methodologies across multiple asset classes.
• Contribute to AI model improvement for surveillance and compliance.
