Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist for a regional remote role near Blacksburg, VA. You will act as a subject matter expert on export regulations, assist with licensing, and guide the business on compliance for shipments, data, and services.

You will train personnel, support the Company Compliance Program, and coordinate with program teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of international activities. The role will require travel to Blacksburg, VA as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with 3 years of experience, or associate degree with 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance on export regulations and licenses for goods, data, services, and travel.
• Advise on compliance with export laws related to shipments, technical data, and international activities.
• Support development of the Company Compliance Program within the Group.
• Increase compliance awareness through training and guidance to personnel on Denied Party Screening and related processes.
• Serve as focal point for license/USG export authorization administration, including post-approval tasks with program teams.
• Assist functional departments to modify processes to promote compliant actions and mitigate risks.
• Support domestic and international travel to Blacksburg, VA as needed.
