Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates seeks a Technical Project Manager 4 (Project Controls) to lead complex projects in the Los Alamos/LANL context while primarily working remotely from Richland, WA. The TPM will define requirements, schedules, budgets, and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders across technical and business domains.

Experience with DOE/NNSA programs and robust cost/schedule controls are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting DOE 413.3B work scope.
• Support project scheduling using Primavera P6, including data quality checks, integration tasks, and schedule analysis.
• Support project cost management using Cobra and EVMS processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business domains to align solutions with project objectives.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Demonstrated initiative and independence—able to take a concept from idea to delivered product without heavy direction.
• Strong communication skills across both technical and business contexts.
• Experience in project controls within DOE/NNSA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous-improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop or maintain project controls processes to meet program needs.
• Assist in cost analysis, cost control, and planning/scheduling for complex projects.
• Provide analyses and innovative guidance on cost and schedule.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and identify cost trends for leadership.
• Coordinate with external customers or internal units and align project objectives.
• Plan and develop project phases and research complex problems.
• Assist in policy development for senior management.
