Job summary

National Jewish Health is seeking a Tobacco Cessation Health Coach to provide assessment, education and behavioral support to individuals quitting tobacco. Coaching is conducted by phone and online, using motivational interviewing to guide quit attempts and sustain abstinence.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and prior health coaching experience. This fully remote position serves multiple states and offers competitive compensation with comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Psychology, Social Work or related Human Services field preferred.
• Minimum two years of health coaching experience preferred.
• Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching using motivational interviewing techniques to support tobacco cessation.
• Conduct intake assessments and document participant information per HIPAA and program guidelines.
• Build rapport, assess readiness to change, and support ongoing behavior change.
• Engage in ongoing training and QA to maintain evidence-based practices.
• Meet call center metrics and performance standards.
