Amazon is seeking a Construction Manager to lead remote-to-local fulfillment center projects, coordinating Real Estate, Design, Launch, Startup, and Operations from concept through hand-off. The role requires heavy travel (approximately 60%) and oversight of budgets, schedules, and permits.

The position calls for strong engineering, planning, and contract administration skills, with experience in large-scale construction programs and multi-stakeholder environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.
• Experience in construction management and related disciplines is required.
• Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the RFP process, vet proposals, and select design-build contractors.
• Coordinate with designers, cost estimators, and building teams to set budgets and schedules.
• Obtain information and decisions needed to complete construction drawings.
• Manage permit approvals with landlords and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Serve as primary Amazon representative for site construction activities and punch list closeout.
• Monitor utilities, track progress, and audit schedule milestones on behalf of Amazon.
• Develop capital appropriation requests and manage approved budgets.
• Coordinate with launch/startup teams for phased turnovers to ensure stakeholder alignment.
