Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Remote to Local Construction Manager to lead large-scale fulfillment center construction programs. You will coordinate with Real Estate, Operations, Design, Launch, Startup, and Legal to move designs from concept to hand-off, ensuring schedule and budget adherence across multiple facilities.

The role requires 60% travel and may be based at corporate facilities in WA, TX, CO or AZ. A strong background in engineering, planning, and contract administration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the RFP process and vet contractor proposals, assemble bid submissions and select design-build contractors.
• Coordinate with designers, building teams, and cost estimators to establish budget, scope and schedule.
• Assist in obtaining information from Amazon required to complete construction drawings and approvals.
• Manage approvals and permissions from landlords.
• Serve as primary Amazon representative for permitting with authorities.
• Monitor utilities integration and site production, track milestones and communicate progress.
