Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking an experienced Legal & Title Analyst to support utility-scale renewable energy projects by reviewing title commitments, site controls, easements, and surveys. The role demands detail orientation, project coordination, and the ability to work with internal teams and external stakeholders.

This is a fixed-term contract (six months) with a pay rate of $55.00 to $70.00 per hour, fully remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• Review title commitments, title policies, land agreements, easements, surveys, and real estate documentation.
• Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and outside consultants.
• Analyze title exceptions, mortgage restrictions, and easement requirements.
• Review ALTA/NSPS surveys and interpret legal descriptions.
• Prepare title reports and project status updates.

Responsibilities

• Review title commitments and related land documents for utility-scale projects.
• Populate and maintain Title Review Excel Spreadsheet with requirements and status.
• Prepare Title Status Reports summarizing findings, risks, and financing considerations.
• Coordinate with title companies and provide redline comments for policies.
• Review ALTA/NSPS surveys to ensure compliance with investor and lender requirements.
• Evaluate easements, rights, encroachments and constructability.
• Coordinate title curative actions with stakeholders.
• Support mineral title review activities for mineral coverage.
• Attend project meetings and provide bi-weekly status reports.
