Job summary

ORC is seeking a Right of Way Professional to join a remote nationwide team. You will perform title research, verify chains of title, and document findings for feedback to title teams. The role blends office reviews with field activity when required and offers a competitive compensation range.

This position emphasizes accuracy, timely delivery, and strong MS Office skills. You will collaborate with leadership on training and help sharpen title standards and checklists to support ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in title research or title examination.
• Proficient with deeds, legal descriptions and property records.
• Ability to read and communicate title information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control reviews of title reports, abstracts, and title curative documents
• Verify chains of title, legal descriptions, and encumbrance findings against source records
• Document findings clearly and return actionable feedback to title teams
• Track recurring issues and help sharpen title standards and checklists
• Support escalated or complex title reviews
• Partner with title leadership on training and calibration
