Job summary

ORC in the United States is seeking a Rights of Way professional to join the Right of Way team. This full-time role offers remote work options within VA, with occasional local travel across Virginia. You will acquire ROW rights, prepare documents, and support project managers while maintaining strong communication with landowners.

The position emphasizes organization, accuracy, and a service mindset, with flexibility for travel and field work as needed.

Qualifications

• MS Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook) required.
• Smartphone (iOS/Android) to access ORC systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Acquire right-of-way rights for distribution and electrical transmission projects.
• Support the Project Manager and project team members.
• Prepare real estate documents.
• Conduct property research for ownership and boundary information.
• Communicate with property owners regarding right of way acquisition.
• Perform general administrative tasks to keep projects moving.
