Job summary

First American is seeking a Curative Specialist to review ownership documents, clear discrepancies, and manage title and lien clearance in the loan pipeline. You will interact daily with lenders and clients, ensuring timely responses and accurate processing.

Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, obtaining client input to clear titles, and providing excellent customer service via phone and email.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of experience in title review, closing, funding or post-closing of residential mortgage loans is required.
• Must possess applicable industry experience and strong time-management skills.
• Deep understanding of Mortgage Loan Life Cycle and mortgage documents is expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong organizational skills and independent judgment are needed.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze chain of ownership and chain of lien to clear discrepancies.
• Communicate with applicable parties; manage pipeline loans and client communications.
• Monitor, coordinate with lenders, and clear titles with clients via phone and email.
• Participate in continuous improvements of processes and assist team to achieve goals.
