Job summary

Koniag Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator Tier 2 (NOC) for a remote position with a 1 PM–9 PM Mountain shift. Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust. The role supports Tier 3 by handling basic troubleshooting, configurations, and coordination with vendors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in network support or administration.
• Entry-level certification such as CCNA or Network+.
• Experience in regulated or secure environments is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Assist in network assessments and document requirements.
• Verify configurations against approved standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and escalate to Tier 3 as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain records of incidents and changes.
• Support user accounts and device setup.
• Monitor system logs for anomalies.
• Apply routine security patches under Tier 3 guidance.
• Use network monitoring tools to identify issues.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
