Job summary

Koniag Information Security Services, LLC is seeking a NOC Technician Tier 1 to support our government customer in Washington, DC. This hybrid position requires 4 days onsite and involves monitoring network infrastructure, responding to incidents, and troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, NOC, or related technical role.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
• Experience using ticketing systems and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network infrastructure and services using various tools.
• Respond to system alerts and service notifications.
• Perform troubleshooting of network incidents.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding ongoing incidents.

Skills

Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN

Customer service orientation

Documentation skills

Attention to detail

Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Education
