Netcraft is seeking a Head of Threat Research to lead a team publishing research based on Netcraft’s data sets, including telemetry and a takedown corpus from 20+ years of phishing, malware, and brand impersonation. You will conduct hands-on research, guide a small team of threat analysts, own the publication pipeline, and represent Netcraft at conferences and in media.

Qualifications

• Published research in threat intelligence or cybersecurity (blogs, whitepapers, talks).
• Experience presenting original research to audiences from analysts to executives.
• Several years of threat intelligence experience, including team leadership.
• Strong editorial judgment and research writing quality.
• Experience managing or contributing to a publication pipeline.
• Deep understanding of phishing, malware, online fraud, and threat actor TTPs.

Responsabilités

• Set editorial direction and quality standards across reports and briefs.
• Speak at conferences and webinars, deliver keynotes and panels.
• Present findings to security analysts, executives, and government officials.
• Mentor and develop a team of threat analysts.
• Partner with engineering to translate research into detections and platform improvements.
• Brief product, marketing, and sales teams on findings to support roadmaps.
