Job summary

Cofense is seeking a Manager of Intelligence Analysis to lead the threat intelligence analyst team, set priorities, and ensure all reporting meets rigorous tradecraft standards. The role involves mentoring staff, coordinating with product, engineering, and marketing, and presenting findings to customers.

Responsibilities include driving editorial quality across blogs, assessments, Flash Alerts, and Quarterly Reports, while contributing to malware analysis as needed. This is a remote U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong analytic skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong writer and communicator, ensuring clear, well-founded reports.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and creative problem-solving.
• Experience with malware analysis, digital forensics, and incident response.
• Deep understanding of how phishing campaigns are created and used for profit.
• Knowledge of intelligence life cycle and related concepts.
• Familiarity with Internet protocols (HTTP/S, DNS, SMTP).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the analyst team and set priorities.
• Ensure high-quality cyber threat intelligence reporting meeting tradecraft standards.
• Advise stakeholders on phishing threat landscape based on findings.
• Develop and maintain processes for sustainable intelligence reporting.
• Collaborate with product leadership, engineering, and marketing to maximize value.
• Mentor and develop the intelligence team.
• Represent findings in customer briefings, webinars, and live presentations.
• Contribute to malware analysis when needed.
• Perform final editorial review of all team-produced reports.
