Job summary

Bogaardgroup is seeking a Threat Management & Investigations Analyst to safeguard clients, content, and IP by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. You will leverage OSINT, social media, and investigative methods to deliver actionable insights for security and business decisions.

The role focuses on developing monitoring strategies across social media, deep web, and dark web platforms using Liferaft and Ontic, with clear reporting for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of intelligence experience in private sector focusing on threat management, protective intelligence, investigations, or risk analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of OSINT, SOCMINT, public records research, deep/dark web methods, and intelligence collection.
• Experience using intelligence platforms and threat monitoring tools such as Ontic or Liferaft.
• Experience conducting threat assessments and applying structured professional judgment guides for risk evaluation.
• Strong investigative skills with objective, thorough investigations.
• Experience producing intelligence products for technical and executive audiences.
• Experience collaborating with global teams, law enforcement, and external partners.
• Experience supporting security operations in high-profile industries (tech/media/entertainment).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills translating complex intelligence into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments with discretion and confidentiality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology, IR/PolSci, Forensic Science, Psychology, Law, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage intelligence platform vendors and resources (Ontic/Liferaft) and improve collection capabilities.
• Develop and maintain social media, open-source, deep web, and dark web monitoring strategies.
• Create and refine intelligence collection requirements, search queries, and monitoring methodologies.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and investigative support with security stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance the Person of Interest database with documentation and tracking.
• Analyze intelligence, identify trends, and produce actionable reports and briefings.
• Support threat assessments and violence risk evaluations using structured judgment methods.
• Investigate physical security, content security, and IP incidents with evidence collection and reporting.
• Collaborate with global security teams, law enforcement, and cross-functional partners.
• Provide timely escalation of emerging threats while maintaining confidentiality.
