Job summary

Control Risks seeks an Online Threat Intelligence Researcher to perform open-source intelligence research for a major client. You will monitor alerts, conduct investigations, and provide concise, actionable intelligence to protect employees and travelers.

Role focuses on Person of Interest research, with duties spanning executive protection support and risk management. Hybrid work is supported, with emphasis on in-person collaboration when possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, regional studies, or a related discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in intelligence, travel security, protective intelligence, security analysis, threat management, risk management or related field.
• Proven ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into a finished, actionable product.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage high-volume intelligence alerts from OSINT and security platforms to identify risks to employees.
• Conduct deeper-dive investigations and provide actionable insights to support incident response.
• Support response efforts for incidents affecting remote employees and travelers, including during active events.
