Job summary

Team Cymru is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our remote, globally distributed team. You will bridge technical and strategic intelligence, researching threat actors, campaigns, and TTPs while supporting customer security requirements with tailored reports.

Responsibilities include analyzing network traffic and infrastructure using PCAP, NetFlow, PDNS, and other data sources, and collaborating with engineering to improve analytics tools and automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a threat intelligence analyst, network forensics analyst, or IT security analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with ability to produce customer-facing intelligence reports under time pressure.
• Proven track record of leading complex analytical projects or investigations.

Responsibilities

• Threat Research: conduct proactive research into threat actors, campaigns, and TTPs.
• Network and Infrastructure Analysis: analyze PCAP, NetFlow, PDNS, open ports, certificates to map malicious infrastructure.
• Reporting: deliver tailored threat intelligence reports with clear conclusions and confidence levels.
• Collaboration: work with engineering and data teams to enhance tools and methodologies.
