Job summary

Team Cymru is seeking a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to bridge technical and strategic research, writing for practitioners and leadership, and guiding analytic tradecraft. You will collaborate with engineering to refine tools, analyze threats, and deliver actionable intelligence to customers from a distributed team.

This remote role requires deep knowledge of threat actor TTPs, OSINT, and network analysis, with opportunities to influence across projects and participate in industry events.

Qualifications

• At least 5+ years in threat intelligence, network forensics, or IT security analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/Cybersecurity or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to produce client-facing reports under tight deadlines.
• Proven track record leading complex analytic projects or investigations.

Responsibilities

• Threat Research: conduct proactive research into threat actors, campaigns, TTPs and publish insights for customers.
• Network and Infrastructure Analysis: perform in-depth PCAP/NetFlow/PDNS analysis to map malicious infrastructure.
• Reporting: triage and respond to customer requests with clear, structured intelligence reports.
• Collaboration: work with tool development and data teams; participate in industry events and working groups.
• Travel: occasional travel for customer workshops and conferences as needed.
• Mentorship: provide guidance and reviews to junior analysts to maintain analytic rigor.
