Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on detection engineering experience; SIEM rules at scale; scripting in PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with SIEM platforms: MS Sentinel, Splunk ES, QRadar, or Elastic Security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain threat detection across enterprise environments.
• Develop, tune, and optimize SIEM use cases, detection rules, alerts, and correlation logic.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting, security investigations, and event analysis.
• Partner with Security Operations, Incident Response, Infra, and Cloud teams to improve coverage.
• Support audits by providing evidence and responses to audit requests.
• Assess and align security monitoring with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
