Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years in threat detection, security engineering, operations, incident response, or compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and detection rule development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain threat detection and monitoring across environments.
• Develop, tune, and optimize SIEM use cases, alerts, and correlation logic.
• Conduct threat hunting, investigations, and event analysis for emerging risks.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, IR, Infra, and Cloud teams to improve coverage.
• Support audits by providing evidence, documentation, and responses to requests.
• Evaluate controls and recommend enhancements for compliance and risk reduction.
• Align monitoring with regulatory requirements and industry frameworks.
• Analyze logs and telemetry from network, endpoint, cloud, and apps.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure detection and readiness.
• Automate monitoring and reporting workflows via scripting and tooling.
• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain documentation of controls, processes, and audit artifacts.
