Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in threat detection, security engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with designing and tuning detection rules and monitoring processes.
• Hands-on SIEM experience with major platforms.
• Knowledge of auditing principles and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain threat detection and monitoring across enterprise environments.
• Develop and optimize SIEM use cases, rules, alerts, and correlations.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and security investigations.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Incident Response, Infrastructure, and Cloud teams to improve coverage.
• Support audits by providing evidence, documentation, and responses to requests.
• Evaluate controls and recommend improvements to enhance compliance and risk reduction.
• Align monitoring practices with regulatory standards and security frameworks.
• Analyze logs and telemetry from network, endpoint, cloud, and applications.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to measure detection and compliance readiness.
• Automate monitoring and reporting through scripting and workflows.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
