Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Threat Analyst to serve as the operational architect for Advertiser Fraud within Safety. You will own end-to-end strategy to build detection playbooks and enforcement frameworks.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Ops teams to translate adversarial insights into scalable defenses and to shape threat response playbooks from scratch.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in threat intelligence, ad tech safety, trust & safety investigations, or platform integrity (focused on ad fraud, financial crime, ATO, or spam abuse).
• Demonstrated 0-to-1 track record of operating in ambiguous environments to build threat response frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and big data environments to independently query petabyte-scale datasets and construct adversarial network graphs.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & System Architecture: Formulate and execute a multi-quarter vision for advertiser fraud detection and enforcement; independently prioritize high-impact risks like account takeover (ATO), payment/billing fraud, cloaking, deceptive ads and network abuse.
