CareMind Health is hiring licensed therapists to join our Suicide Prevention & Family Support program in Washington. This 100% remote role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PT, with responsibilities including biopsychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy, and coordinating care across treatment settings.

The position requires WA-DOH licensed clinicians (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT), at least 2 years of experience with youth and adults, and crisis intervention training.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in psychology, social work, or other applicable behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Licensure: Current Washington Department of Health (WA DOH) independent behavioral health license. Eligible licenses include LICSW, LMHC, LMFT.
  • Two or more years of direct experience working with adolescents and adults in the behavioral health field required. Experience in suicide prevention strongly preferred.
  • Crisis intervention training and experience required.
  • Knowledge of local resources, social determinants of health, mental health, substance use disorders, interpersonal violence, and social issues.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Family-Centered Psychotherapy: evidence-based individual, joint family, and parent/guardian teletherapy for youth (ages 12–26) at high or critical risk of suicide.
  • Conduct Suicide Risk Assessment & Safety Planning: administer validated risk assessment tools (e.g., C-SSRS) and lead Safety Planning, lethal means counseling, and crisis stabilization for youth and family.
  • Manage Monthly Acuity & Risk Stratification: complete assessments at monthly review periods to measure acuity, track suicide risk trajectory, and adjust care frequency and goals.
  • Lead Clinical Care Team Collaboration: direct the clinical safety strategy with BHSS and 24/7 crisis team, ensuring aligned roles.
  • Provide Crisis Escalation Response: act as the licensed clinician for high-acuity escalations, updating safety plans during critical events.
  • Maintain Fee-for-Service & Medicaid Compliance: complete high-integrity clinical documentation supporting medical necessity and counseling for Medicaid FF S billing.
  • Drive Multimodal Youth & Family Engagement: use video, secure messaging, and safety apps to maintain outreach and re-engage youth or caregivers.
  • Integrate Care Infrastructure & Panel Tracking: participate in interdisciplinary huddles, maintain registry accuracy, monitor KPIs to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with member, family, and healthcare providers to develop an individualized plan of care.
  • Develop and coordinate community resources emphasizing medical, behavioral health, suicide prevention, and social services.
  • Identify and initiate referrals for social service programs including financial, psycho-social, and state services.
  • Document all assessments, care plans, and referrals; maintain confidentiality of members.
