Job summary

Small Behavioral Health Counseling is seeking a part-time SBHC Professional to provide tele-health services for mental health needs. You will conduct diagnostic interviews, deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, and coordinate care with SBHC therapists.

The role requires an LPC or LPCC and an MA or higher in behavioral health, with at least 6 months of supervised experience. A confidential remote workspace and reliable internet are essential for success.

Qualifications

• LPC or LPCC licensure in good standing to practice in Ohio.
• MA degree or higher in behavioral/mental health field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
• Full and unrestricted license in good standing to practice in Ohio.
• At least 6 months of relevant supervised experience with evidence-based therapies (e.g., DBT, CBT, REBT, SFBT).
• Knowledge and experience with treating mental health disorders.
• Organized, quick and enthusiastic learner, excellent communicator, receptive to feedback, good with time management.
• Comfortable and efficient with using technology to communicate.
• Have a confidential, private location to work remotely from with reliable internet access.
• Ambitious and ready to keep up with a competitive, goal-driven, start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional tele-health services via an SBHC approved platform using your license and education.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and treatment planning using validated measures.
• Deliver psychoeducation and evidence-based psychotherapy.
• Refer, consult, and coordinate care with other SBHC therapists.
• Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation in the SBHC EHR system.
• Manage your caseload and schedule; respond to clients promptly.
• Consult with supervisor biweekly and engage in SBHC support activities.
