Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in language transcription.
• Qualifying scores ILR 3 minimum in language/translation tests.
• Must have lived 3 of the last 5 years in the U.S.
• At least 1 year of experience working with law enforcement/legal department.
• U.S. citizen required.
• Expertise in formal, legal, diplomatic communication.
• Fluent writing in English and foreign languages.
• Ability to translate accurately without changes.
• Knowledge of relevant code of linguist ethics.
• Proficient in using Computer-Assisted Translation tools.
