Job summary

Everest Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer for a remote role with extensive travel.

The position leads QA for central pharmacy fulfillment deployments from FAT through SAT and post-go-live support, developing test strategies, validation protocols, and quality gates for hardware/software integration systems. The role requires strong technical knowledge, disciplined documentation, and clear communication with engineering teams, customers, and leadership to ensure systems meet acceptance

Qualifications

5+ years QA/test engineering experience in healthcare IT or related fields.
Experience in systems integration testing across middleware, APIs, HL7/NCPDP integrations.
Experience with automation in high-volume fulfillment operations (pharmacy automation preferred).
Pharmacy/healthcare testing experience preferred.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Design and lead FAT test strategy and protocols with integrators and vendors.
Own on-site SAT execution, test environment setup, defect tracking and sign-off.
Conduct systems integration testing across hardware and software components.
Lead root-cause analysis and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Define and document regression test suites for post-go-live validation.
Support post-go-live quality monitoring and stability testing.
Document test results and prepare reports for audits and leadership.
Stay current with central fill automation platforms and vendor release cycles.
Mentor Installation Engineers on quality and testing practices.
