The role requires 1–3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree (sciences preferred), and willingness to travel up to 30% including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred sciences background (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• 1–3 years pharmaceutical or relevant sales experience or equivalent education/experience
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% including overnight stays for territory business and meetings
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record that meets company standards
• Demonstrated track record of high performance in sales, academics, athletics, or similar endeavors
• Desire to work in a startup environment or entrepreneurial sales model with sole responsibility for product promotion within a large territory
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to influence varied audiences

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual territory sales goals as approved by leadership
• Review performance metrics with Regional Sales Manager
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in the geography
• Promote Esperion products to HCPs through meetings and company-approved programs
• Analyze local market trends and monitor performance to maximize product use
• Demonstrate effective use of sales and marketing tools to achieve objectives
• Maintain knowledge of product payor coverage to meet market access goals
• Attend local/regional/national congresses to promote brands
• Complete administrative tasks: samples, call submissions, expenses, mileage
• Ensure compliance with all policies and training requirements
• Coordinate with RSMs and Territory Managers to maximize territory potential
• Align Sales and Marketing efforts with company initiatives
• Work with Market Access to optimize payer pull-through
• Maintain vendor credentialing as needed
