Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers is seeking a Territory Manager for the Northern Virginia region.

This full-time remote role focuses on driving equipment and asset transactions, developing new business, building seller and buyer relationships, and maintaining consignments and sales pipelines. The role requires strong B2B sales experience in equipment-related industries, excellent communication, and the ability to travel within the territory as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong sales operations and business planning skills to manage pipelines, forecast results, and execute territory growth strategies.
• Demonstrated communication and customer service skills to build trust, present solutions clearly, and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Proficient analytical skills to interpret market data, assess equipment values, and make data-informed recommendations.
• Experience in business-to-business sales, ideally in equipment, transportation, construction, or related industries.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, organize daily activities, and travel within the Northern Virginia territory as needed.
• Comfort with CRM platforms, digital sales tools, and virtual meeting technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company standards.

Responsabilités

• Conduct customer visits (virtual and on-site as needed) to identify needs and opportunities.
• Present Ritchie Bros. solutions and selling channels; negotiate agreements.
• Monitor market trends and coordinate with internal teams; ensure accurate documentation.
• Meet territory sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
• Represent Ritchie Bros. professionally within the Northern Virginia market.
