Job summary

Health Care Service Corp. is seeking a skilled Infrastructure/Platform Administrator to support day-to-day Teradata operations and performance. The role emphasizes stability, scalability, and efficient incident response, with a focus on architecture, security, and automation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Teradata experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of ITIL practices. Remote work is possible within the continental U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years in Information Technology or relevant experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and ITIL-based processes.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to simplify complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and implementation of end-to-end Infrastructure solutions with service targets and cost models.
• Provide depth in installation, configuration, administration, and operations of Teradata platform technologies.
• Ensure stability, security, and operational viability of Infrastructure products and Teradata services.
• Support Teradata upgrades, patches, migrations, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to drive Infrastructure builds and resolve issues.
