Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health clinician for Psychiatry Virtual Transition Care: Billingsley, a telepsychiatry role in Charlotte, NC. The position is 36 hours per week, 4 days a week (Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM).

Salary range is $33.05–$49.60 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within Advocate Health's extensive care network.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant human services field required.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in the state and 2 years of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments and psychosocial evaluations using DSM criteria.
• Assesses and implements crisis plans and interventions for high-risk patients.
• Maintains current knowledge in area of specialty and treatment modalities.
• Identifies and resolves barriers to accessing behavioral health services.
• Adheres to professional standards and ethics as required by licensing boards.
• Communicates clearly with medical staff, leadership, and team members.
• Documents assessments and progress updates in the medical record per standards.
• Demonstrates sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Master’s degree in a relevant human services field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy)

Associate’s degree in Nursing

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
