Job summary

Outer Cape Health Services is seeking a Psychiatrist to practice integrated psychiatry with primary care clinicians on Cape Cod. You will provide consults, support diagnostic clarification, and help integrate psychiatric care into overall treatment plans.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and ongoing professional education to improve access to behavioral health services for our community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
• Experience in community-based psychiatry and collaborative care preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual helpful.
• Proficiency with EPIC and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric consultations for patients referred by primary care.
• Assist primary care providers with diagnostic clarification and treatment planning.
• Recommend psychotropic medications, dosing, monitoring, and interactions.
• Collaborate with physicians and APPs to integrate psychiatric care into care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and timely documentation and coding.
