Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification in Psychiatry.
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
• Eligibility for malpractice insurance.
• Experience in community-based psychiatry and collaborative care preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; bi-lingual helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric consultation for primary care referrals and manage psychiatric conditions.
• Assist primary care providers with diagnostic clarification and appropriate care levels.
• Provide recommendations on psychotropic medications, dosing, monitoring, and interactions.
• Collaborate with primary care clinicians to integrate psychiatric care into the overall healthcare plan.
• Deliver evidence-based psychiatric care with a patient-centered approach.
