Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Telepharmacy Technician to manage the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy operations under pharmacist oversight. You will handle inventory, adherence to workflow standards, and patient communication to ensure accurate dispensing and high service levels.

Responsibilities include supporting inventory controls, annual audits, and facilitating coordination between Telepharmacy and supervising pharmacists to resolve issues and improve patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician (may be 2+ in select states).
• PTCB National Certification or equivalent state-accepted national Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• State-level licensure requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy, including keyholder duties and inventory integrity.
• Manage pharmacy inventory including controlled substances and temperature logging.
• Conduct monthly reviews of Inventory Excellence Report to improve stock accuracy.
• Coordinate annual inventories, planograms, and AP Pulse checks.
• Improve customer service and pharmacy workflow, support Telepharmacy team.
• Mentor new Telepharmacy Technicians in onboarding and training.
• Engage with patients to answer questions and provide counseling under pharmacist oversight.
