MedStar Health in Maryland is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician to observe cardiac monitors, identify dysrhythmias, and document findings for RN notification. The role requires accurate data entry, adherence to privacy policies, and teamwork with the critical care staff.

Responsibilities include admitting monitor data, communicating changes in rhythms to the Primary RN, and ensuring proper documentation and adherence to unit protocols. High school diploma and 1–2 years' experience preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare or telemonitoring experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Basic computer data entry skills.
• HIPAA confidentiality knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors patients’ cardiac rhythms and identifies dysrhythmias.
• Notifies the RN of critical life-threatening events.
• Documents rhythms and patient data in the chart and remote monitor log.
• Communicates with care teams and participates in shift handoffs.
• Maintains monitors and equipment per department protocols.
