Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians work from anywhere with flexible weekly schedules and a streamlined EMR. Independent contractor (1099) payments range from per-visit to hourly equivalents, with top earners over $260K annually.

The role requires at least five state licenses, 15–20 weekly hours, and commitment to expanding access to care in underserved communities through modern telehealth services.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
