Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering high-quality virtual care across 44 states, with all work fully virtual and a flexible schedule. Physicians set their own weekly hours (minimum 15) as independent contractors, earning $35 per completed consult, up to $210/hour with shorter visit times, and top earners surpassing $260K annually.

The role emphasizes addiction care and broad telehealth services, with supportive credentialing, malpractice coverage, and a streamlined EMR platform

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX), with willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs and provides support)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly, across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
