Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly schedules as independent contractors, with no office overhead and a streamlined EMR.

The role centers on addiction care and growing telehealth programs. Compensation includes $35 per consult, $105/hour for standard 20-minute visits, with potential to reach $210/hour for shorter visit times; top earners exceed $260K annually.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Available for at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Active DEA registration and CSL where required.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (licensing costs covered).
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications (excluding most controlled substances, with buprenorphine for MOUD as allowed).
• Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
• Stay current with telehealth innovations and best practices.
