Job summary

QuickMD is a fully virtual telemedicine provider inviting licensed physicians to join as independent contractors and deliver high‑quality care across the United States.

You’ll set your own schedule, work from anywhere, and receive per‑visit compensation with licensing support and malpractice coverage from QuickMD. The role supports addiction treatment access with modern EMR tools and a dedicated provider-support team, enabling flexible, patient-centered care. Top performers exceed $260K annually.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in five U.S. states (AL/CA/FL/GA/NC/PA/TX preferred) with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Available to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted a week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Familiar with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
