Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider delivering virtual care across 44 states with a focus on addiction medicine and expanding programs in weight management and general telehealth. Physicians set their own schedule as independent contractors, working from anywhere with a streamlined EMR and provider-support team.

Position emphasizes multi-state licensing, telehealth experience, and a highly competitive per-visit model (starting at $35/consult) with potential to reach higher hourly earnings

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states; willingness to obtain additional licenses (costs covered)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no C-Sub prescriptions except buprenorphine for OUD)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
