Job summary

QuickMD is a leading telemedicine provider offering fully virtual care across 44 states. Physicians set their own weekly schedule, work from anywhere, and earn per-visit pay with high earning potential for shorter visit times.

Independent contractor model with 1099 status is standard, and the platform supports credentialing and onboarding. The role emphasizes addiction care focus, with expansion into weight management and general telehealth.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states and willingness to obtain additional licenses.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs; training provided.
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, especially in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (buprenorphine for MOUD allowed).
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovations.
