Job summary

QuickMD, a leading telemedicine provider, seeks dedicated physicians licensed in multiple U.S. states to join a fully virtual team. You will conduct compliant, patient-centered virtual visits with flexible scheduling and no office overhead.

Independent contractor engagement offers per-visit compensation and potential for higher earnings with shorter visit times. The role supports addiction care and other telehealth services across 44 states, with 15–20 hours per week, and licensing costs covered

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• DEA registration and CSL where required.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Willing to commit at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Excellent communication and clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
