Job summary

QuickMD is seeking licensed physicians to join its fully virtual care team across 44 states. Work from anywhere with a flexible weekly framework, and enjoy per-visit compensation as an independent contractor.

The role supports addiction medicine and broader telehealth services with streamlined EMR and dedicated provider support. Ideal candidates have active licenses in multiple states, experience with telehealth or high-volume practice, and a commitment to expanding access to care in underserved

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX)
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
