Job summary

QuickMD is seeking licensed physicians for fully virtual practice across the United States. Physicians set their own schedule and work from anywhere, earning compensation per completed consult with potential to reach high annual earnings.

The role emphasizes addiction treatment access, high-volume telemedicine, and minimal administrative overhead. This independent contractor position requires active multi-state licensure, DEA registration, and comfort with EMR/telemedicine platforms.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
