Federated Service Solutions is seeking an entry-level Telematics Technician who will train and deploy telematics and fleet technology across the United States. The role is remote-based with extensive nationwide travel and deployment from Michigan.

No prior telematics experience is required. We provide structured training, mentorship, and certification opportunities to develop the technical skills needed to succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and curiosity.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Complete training programs for telematics, fleet technology, and installation.
• Install telematics and fleet technology in various vehicle types.
• Learn wiring, routing, testing, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Travel to customer locations across the United States.
• Follow installation standards, safety procedures, and documentation.
• Provide professional customer service while representing the company.
• Build technical knowledge through ongoing training and certification programs.
• Advance through defined technician development milestones.
